Automated Vision Inspection System

Pipeline developed an automated inspection system to test multiple functions of a new medical device, including shaft RPM, shaft straightness, shaft wobble, shaft reciprocation (these first four were measured using a laser vision system controlled with a custom LabVIEW program), pressure decay, and torque. Custom LabVIEW software was created to automate the test efforts, requiring operators to simply push a button to run the test and obtain results.
