DRESDEN INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS MARKET
The Augustusmarkt, Dresden's second largest Christmas market, has become a special highlight in the Christmas landscape of the Elbe metropolis. With its young and international ambience and the fresh design of the white-gold illuminated pagodas, it presents itself as a 500-meter-long, cozy promenade Christmas market in the main street between Neustädter Markt and Albertplatz. It sets a very own and unmistakable accent in the Christmas country of Saxony.
Attractions include the Blue Tree in the middle of the market, the gold-glittering Christmas fir at Gomondai Square and the huge Ferris wheel at the Golden Horseman with a fantastic view of the historic old town.
