Let's Play! - Battletech: Alpha Strike by Catalyst Game Labs

Full disclosure; I've had a thirty year flirtation with Battletech that never actually resulted in me playing the game for myself. When I was playing Titanicus this was the North American offering on shelves. I've played with friends copies but not actually owned or painted a model from the Battletech universe until now! Catalyst Game Labs has produced a new, fast-playing edition of the signature North-American Mech-Combat property of the nineties. With brand new plastic models and a card-driven pick-up-and-play game system which is codified in the Command Edition this is the edition of Battletech that finally got me to paint some Mechwarriors and give the game a go.
