Throughout the world of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla there are these strange sites called cursed symbols. They are usually in a remote location and they are covered in some kind of evil black magic. Human and animal remains and altars are also present, as well as remains of a bloody sacrifice ritual. And in this particular symbol found in Ledecestrescire, there is this note which absolutely implies that these sites are the work of Devil worshippers, or Luciferians as some would call them in medieval times. But it is unknown how these sites have this kind of curse on them. All supernatural things in the AC series have had an explanation behind them, usually related to the isu and pieces of eden. But this dark presence found here is not explained in any way. Which makes it really mystical. Is the Devil an actual thing in the AC universe then? Hard to say.
