তৈরি পোশাকশিল্পের শ্রমিকদের বার্ষিক মজুরি বৃদ্ধি বা ইনক্রিমেন্ট হবে ৯ শতাংশ। মালিক ও শ্রমিকপক্ষের মধ্যে দীর্ঘ দর–কষাকষির পর বিষয়টি চূড়ান্ত হয়েছে। নিম্নতম মজুরি পুনর্নির্ধারণ না হওয়া পর্যন্ত পোশাকশ্রমিকেরা নিয়মিত ৫ শতাংশের সঙ্গে অতিরিক্ত ৪ শতাংশ, অর্থাৎ ৯ শতাংশ ইনক্রিমেন্ট পাবেন। চলতি ডিসেম্বর থেকে এটি কার্যকর হবে। ফলে শ্রমিকদের জানুয়ারির মজুরির সঙ্গে ৯ শতাংশ ইনক্রিমেন্ট যুক্ত হবে।The annual wage increase for workers in the garment industry will be 9 percent. After a long negotiation between the owner and the workers, the matter has been finalized. Garment workers will get an additional 4 per cent, i.e. 9 per cent increment, along with the regular 5 per cent till the minimum wage is re-fixed. It will be effective from this December. As a result, 9 percent increment will be added to the workers' January wages.
