Civil War soldier who Measured Up to Lincoln / Ceres gravesites

Jeff will take you on a tour of the only graveyard in Ceres, California, to tell you about some of the fascinating folks buried there, including George "Will" Averill, who was an ailing Civil War soldier who was visited by President Lincoln in a D.C. area hospital. When the president noticed how tall Will was he asked him to stand to see who was taller.

Jeff will also check out a Confederate soldier grave, the grandparents of Billy Graham evangelist Cliff Barrows, a little known, country singer, the teenage son of an early Ceres settler, the second victim of the I-5 strangler Roger Kibbe and the parents of Congressman Gary Condit.
