But in a collective group or in a desert garden, it can be quite attractive. YES, this is one of favourite cactus period.

Because it is a crawler and normally segments itself, it is easy to grow by cuttings, but do not expect it to grow vertically. Yet like most cactus it is also grown from seeds. Handle with care as it attains its great size, because of its fearful spines.
