Finally after more than 4 years we were able to go and visit Japan and this time for birding. We started in Kyoto and most of the time we look around Kyoto Gyoen National Garden where we saw most of our lifers and we also visited Kamo River for ducks, cormorants and other water birds. We also visited Kyoto Botanical Gardens.
Overall we saw 35 species from which 24 were lifers!
