Here we have what amounts to a test of a phone audio pickup device I found today - in this case, dialing a somewhat known 1-800 number which results in the caller getting a Japanese "cannot be completed as dialed" message... but, this comes from an American 1-800 number, and even ends in what must be a Japanese reorder tone.

I thought it worth preserving in a way just like the phreaks of old would have recorded such.

Recorded from the output of my red 1979 Western Electric model 2500 phone.
