Retraction turns (cross under turns) - snowboarding dynamic carving

Описание к видео Retraction turns (cross under turns) - snowboarding dynamic carving

Retraction turns are the most advanced type of dynamic turns in snowboarding. In this technique, the snowboard is first pushed away from the body to generate pressure and execute the turn, before being pulled back towards the body to release pressure and start a new turn. Like down un-weighted turns, retraction turns require the rider to be in their most flexed position at the edge change. This not only helps maintain balance on rugged terrain but also enables quicker changes in direction.
