Canon IXUS External Power Battery Mod

Modify a Canon Ixus battery to convert the battery into an external power adapter.
Canon Ixus 220 HS is sometimes called PowerShot ELPH 300 HS

The original battery used in this camera:
Model: NB-4L (NB4L)
Battery type: Li-ion
Voltage: 3.7v
Battery capacity: 1400mAh

This DYI hack and mod works with any standard USB power supply or with a power bank.
In the video I use the Xiaomi Mi 2s power bank but you can use any source you like.

Making the USB cable to connect to the battery external power adapter.

BE VERY CAREFUL when you cut the plastic shell, DO NOT cut deep, just enough so that the plastic shell separates.
If you don't feel comfortable doing this, don't do it. You can get the external power adapter if you want to.
The problem with that adapter is that it's not standard USB power.
