A simple and easy curry without any spices or ground coconut paste. That is usually prepared by brinjals. No other vegetables are suitable for this curry. This curry is sometimes served during functions. The ingredients required are mainly toor dal and brinjals. Green chillies added for spiciness. Salt, jaggery and tamarind are added for taste. This curry best suits for hot white rice.
