Rogue Legacy - Thanatophobia Trophy

Here are some excerpts from my Thanatophobia trophy run (beat the game in 15 lives without using the Architect). If you can kill the 1st boss with your 1st character, you should be able to collect enough gold to unlock the Hokage right away. I got lucky and found a Grace rune early on, and even though I had to give up my double jump to use it (same slot), I found it immensely helpful for exploring the tougher areas. If you have beaten the remix bosses, you shouldn't have too much trouble beating the 2nd and 3rd bosses with a low level Hokage or Barbarian King. I show my strategy for beating the 4th boss, Herodotus, which consists of killing the earth mages as they spawn (so they don't get out of control) and luring the slimes up to a low platform as you leap to a high platform to reduce accidentally/blindly landing on them. Next, focus on finding some new equipment and leveling HP and attack up, until you come across a good character with which to try the final boss. I went through a good Paladin with Hypergonadism (increased enemy knockback) and a Barbarian King with Gigantism before finally succeeding with a Color Blind Hokage. Good Luck!
