Can Mercurial Heart Booster Packs Be Weighed?? Let’s Find Out! A Grand Archive Booster Box Opening.

Weighing packs has become more of a hot topic and industry standard for vintage Pokemon booster packs. This made me wonder, “can Grand Archive booster packs be weighed?”

For those unfamiliar, weighing booster packs are done to determine if there is a foil/holo (shiny) card inside of the booster pack. The thought is that the foil/holo card weighs more and will cause the booster pack to be heavier.

Typically the heavier booster pack will contain a foil and is has more value than a lighter booster pack. Pokémon has remedied this issue in the modern era with their code cards, but older booster packs are susceptible to pack weighing.

It’s with this we begin our journey today of answering this question in the Grand Archive TCG. Are the foil cards detectable in booster packs by weighing them??
