Virtual launch of the book "Gender stereotypes in archaeology"

Recording of a virtual launch of the book “Gender stereotypes in archaeology: A short reflection in image and text” (Sidestone Press, 2021) edited by Laura Coltofean-Arizancu, Bisserka Gaydarska and Uroš Matić, and illustrated by Nikola Radoslavjević.

The online event, which took place on 20 December 2021, was hosted by the European Association of Archaeologists and moderated by Ana Cristina Martins (co-chair of the EAA Community Archaeology and Gender in Europe [AGE]; University of Évora and University of Lisbon).

The event attendees included EAA President Eszter Bánffy, the three editors
and the illustrator, Sidestone Press representatives, the authors who have
contributed with different entries to the booklet, the backers who supported the project through the Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, project sponsors and supporters, as well as EAA and AGE members.
