In this video I assemble the a neat Car Driving Simulator DIY Soldering Kit. This kit was a gift from my brother, but can be picked up cheaply from various sellers.

The simulated vehicle allows you to control the acceleration, direction indicator lights (including hazard mode), head lights, brake lights, reversing lights, and includes a colour OLED display showing the simulated speed in km/h.

The kit is based on an 16 pin STC Microcontroller. The chip is the the STC8G1K17, part of the STC8G family, and is provided pre-programmed specifically for the car simulation.
