In this video I demonstrate how to play the main slap groove from Alain Caron's jazz-funk classic 'D-Code'. You’ll find this track on Alain's Play album.

This is a great line, and although it was originally performed on a 6-string bass, it works well on a 5-string too. I love the use of the popped double stop at the beginning of each bar. The whole song is great fun to learn, and you'll find a full transcription in the Free Stuff section of the Bassline Publishing website - see below.
