1958 Dodge Coronet - Windshield R&R

Part 5: we head to the junkyard to find a windshield for Veronica, our 1958 Dodge Coronet Lancer 2 door hardtop, then carefully install it.

This windshield, known as the W453, is a unique windshield with a 'bulge' at the top.
It is specific to 1958-59 Chrysler, Dodge, Desoto, 2 door hardtops, 4 door hardtops, and 1957-59 Chrysler, Dodge, Desoto, Plymouth convertibles - only.
There are available new, but way too expensive for our budget build, and allegedly do not have the unique 'bulge' as the factory originals.

This old Mopar has factory optional tinted windows, but for now, this non-tinted windshield with slightly cloudy edges, and zero windshield wiper marks, will do just fine, especially when cruising with all the windows down!
