State of Kharan was an autonomous princely state in British India covering what is part of the present-day province of Balochistan, in the southwest of Pakistan. On 17 March 1948, Kharan acceded to Pakistan and on 3 October 1952 it joined the Baluchistan States Union. The remnanats of clay fort in Panjgur city of balochistan is one of the remnants of Nosherwani state of kharan. like kharan city panjgur was also part of stste .panjgur is famous for its date farms ,oasis and beautiful land scape. the fort is in decrepit condition as balochistan government has less interest in archeology and tourism.
