In the Indian mainland, the beginning of the Sultani era was established by the Turkish ruler Muhammad Ghuri, the establishment of Delhi Sultanate in 1192 AD.

Until 1526 AD - Slave Dynasty, Khalji Dynasty, Tughlaq Dynasty, Syed Dynasty and Lodhi Dynastys Sultan ruled Delhi.

In the first battle of Panipat in 1526, when the Sultan Ibrahim Lodhi of Delhi, defeated with Babur of Kabul, the end of the Sultani era began in the Mughal rule.

In 1204, the Sultani era of Bengal started with the victory of Nadia and Gauda by the Turkish army, Ikhtaruddin Mohammad bin Bakhtiar Khalji.

In the battle of Rajmahal in 1576, when Mughal Emperor Akbar's forces were defeated by the ruler of Bengal, Dawood Khan of Bengal was defeated, the Mughal rule began in Bengal.

In 1757, Nawab Siraj-ud-Daulah of the subah of Bengal, being betrayed by the commander of Mir Jafar, was defeated by the British in the Battle of Plassey, and with this the culmination of the Nawabi period of Bengal came to an end. The British rule begins.
