Replacing Old Electrolytic Capacitors On A Sony TA1150 Amplifier - Retfurb Retro Audio

Описание к видео Replacing Old Electrolytic Capacitors On A Sony TA1150 Amplifier - Retfurb Retro Audio

In this video we show a full replacement of electrolytic capacitors on a Sony TA-1150 amplifier.
We do all this while attempting to preserve the original unit and keep it going for many more years to come.
The Amplifier is around 50 years old now!, So replacing the capacitors is only going to help the system. We use high quality Panasonic & Nichicon capacitors, As well as High quality Kemet capacitors for the 2 main power caps. These will be screw type fittings, To replace the older solder type capacitor connections

Back when it was first made, The Sony TA1150 amplifier was at the top end of Sony hifi equipment. It was the last Sony high end amplifier, That did not bear the 'ES' designation. This is now the designation found on all of the top end Sony audio equipment.
