Tripreport - QATAR AIRWAYS Long-haul Economy Class Flight on Airbus A350 - Doha to Singapore Changi

Airline Trip Report. Qatar Airways Long Haul Flight Review. Onboard the Qatar Airways Airbus A350! This is a flight review (Trip Report) of our (Maxi & Maro) Qatar Airways Economy Class Long Haul flight from Doha Airport (Hamad International Airport) to Singapore Airport (Changi Airport) onboard the new and very modern Airbus A350-900 passenger aircraft. Our flight begins at Doha Airport where we are disembarking our Qatar Airways Dreamliner flight from Copenhagen.

The video then follows our time spent walking through Hamad International Airport waiting for our Qatar Airways Airbus A350 connection flight to Singapore. From the airport footage viewers should get an idea of the walking distances to gates etc. when in transit at Doha Airport. Once it is time to board our flight, viewers are given a short view of the Airbus A350 waiting at our departure gate. Once the flight begins/is underway viewers will get a view of the cabins (Economy Class Cabin and Business Class Cabin), the Economy Class Lavatories and the Economy Class Galley where the Qatar Airways cabin crew prepares the inflight meals and drink trolleys. On this economy class flight we had two inflight meals, one was a hot three course lunch and the other was an inflight snack box which was given before landing at Changi Airport. The Qatar Airways Inflight Entertainment System (Oryx One In-flight Entertainment), particularly the one onboard their Airbus A350-900 has a reputation for being very good and this Oryx Entertainment system is therefore featured in this trip report too. We also cover the Oryx In-Flight magazine, the Extravaganza onboard Duty Free Shopping Magazine and present the Onboard Safety card for the Airbus A350-900). The footage also includes our approach to Singapore´s Changi Airport, the landing, the taxiing, the disembarkation and finally Changi Airport´s Baggage Claim area.

We had a comfortable first flight onboard this Qatar Airways Airbus A350 (Airbus A350-900)777 flying Doha to Singapore. The crew was friendly, professional and attentive. The cabin was clean and had an airy interior. Legroom was good for Maxi´s height (186 cm) but not a major difference from other aircraft types and airline economy class cabins. All inflight drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic where available Ad-libitum and free of charge. This complimentary meals and drinks are a service that we appreciate and do hope that Qatar Airways will continue providing. We would most certainly fly Economy Class with Qatar Airways again... but having experienced the very poor legroom in the Economy Class cabin of their Dreamliner aircraft, it would have to be on a long haul route operated with their brand new Airbus A350 Aircraft.
