Failure is a group story, not a personal flaw.

We talk about failure like it’s private.
Like it only happens inside one person.

But most of what we call “failure” is actually social.

It shows up when:
• you don’t ask the question fast enough
• you don’t know something yet
• you bring a different idea
• you move slower
• you don’t match the group’s definition of “smart” or “successful”

And suddenly the message is:
Don’t be new.
Don’t be different.
Don’t slow us down.
Don’t question this.

That’s not growth.
That’s fear wearing the costume of standards.

Every healthy system needs:
people who ask
people who notice
people who see sideways
people who don’t already “fit”

Because new perspective isn’t weakness.
It’s how things evolve.

If a room makes you feel small for learning out loud,
that’s not a failure mindset…

That’s a control mindset.
