How to Understand Our Times: Emma Watson in Conversation With Dr. Denis Mukwege

2018 Nobel Peace Prize laureate Dr. Denis Mukwege has devoted himself to treating the victims of rape by Congolese rebels and ending the use of sexual violence as a weapon of armed conflict — all at considerable personal risk and cost. On Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in a rare visit to London, he was joined by acclaimed actor, activist and Global Goodwill Ambassador for U.N. Women Emma Watson. They discussed his work, philanthropy and what we can all do to bring about a safer, fairer future for women and girls.
