"Perspectives are one of the keys to unlocking the infinity," said Prof. Lionel M. Ni, president of HKUST(GZ), during his inspiring First Class on "Perspectives and Infinity" at HKUST(GZ)'s opening ceremony for the 2024 academic year on Sept 1.

He pointed out that in high school, you must give right answers. In contrast, in university, you are expected to ask right questions, develop critical thinking skills, become problem solvers, creators of new knowledge, boundary-breakers, and future leaders, and sharpen your interpersonal communication skills.
