Among the ghats of Lake Pichola in Udaipur city, we have already explored the Gangauri or Gangaur Ghat, but there is another one that is also very beautiful. This ghat is known as Ambrai Ghat. It is also called Manjhi or Manji's ghat.

It is known as Amrai Ghat because of the presence of the Amrai Hotel nearby. From Gangauri Ghat, you can reach here through a foot-over bridge in between them called the Daiji Bridge. There is a temple of Sardar Swaroop Shyam ji, i.e., Manjhi, present on the ghat. Because of the presence of Manji's temple, this ghat is called Manji's ghat.

This ghat holds a very important cultural place here. The rituals like bathing, puja, and head shaving have been taking place at this ghat after the last rites of a person. Maybe because of this reason, there is no heritage built here. Another instance of its cultural importance is that it is often one of the venues of the World Music Festival held in Udaipur.

A very beautiful view of the Pichola Lake and the sunrise and sunset can be seen from this ghat. Among the places that are visible from here are Daiji Bridge, Gangaur Ghat, Bagor Ki Haveli, the rear part of City Palace, Lake Palace, Leela Palace Hotel, etc.
