Royal Enfield recently unveiled the updated 2024 Classic 350 in India. Although the motorcycle remains mechanically unchanged, it comes with new feature upgrades and cosmetic enhancements. Let’s take a look at what’s new on the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350.

New Features

Royal Enfield has updated the motorcycle's lighting setup and gets LED illumination for the headlamp, position lamps, taillight, and turn indicators. The LED headlamp is the same that is seen on the Super Meteor 650 and the Shotgun 650. The new Classic 350 also gets adjustable, brake and clutch levers, USB-C charging port, and a gear-position indicator. That said, most of these features are only available in higher-spec variants.

New Colours and Customisation Program

The 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350 is offered in seven new colour options. These are Emerald, Jodhpur Blue, Commando Sand, Madras Red, Medallion Bronze, Sand Grey, and Stealth Black. Besides these new paint schemes, Royal Enfield has announced a new factory custom program, which allows customers to design their bikes by choosing various colours, seat fabrics, stickers, and badges as per their individual tastes. However, customers will need to make prior appointments with the company’s industrial designers to come up with a custom design.

Unchanged Mechanicals

Barring the cosmetic and feature upgrades, the new Classic 350 remains unchanged mechanically. It continues to use the 349cc, single-cylinder, J-series engine that pumps out 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and a peak torque of 27Nm at 4,000rpm. The air/oil-cooled motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox. The engine offers dollops of torque in the low-end and mid-range and is known for its tractability and effortless cruising nature.

Even the cycle parts are carried over from the outgoing model. So, it continues with the telescopic forks and dual shock absorbers for its suspension duties. Meanwhile, the base variants get a disc/drum setup with single-channel ABS, while higher models get the stopping power from disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS.

It will compete against the Jawa 350 and the Honda CB350.
