[STORY]
You've been sent here (or volunteered) to retrieve the crystal at The Ridge. Soldiers were dispatched to retrieve it themselves, but all of their efforts have failed, and Urbanshade was starting to lose valuable troops, so they switched to sending Expendables (Prisoners) instead.
The submarine can only take you as far as the Hadal Blacksite, so you'll have to walk the rest of the way there. While HQ assures you that it is the quickest and safest way to the crystal, that does NOT mean it's completely clear; so you'll have to watch out for threats along the way.
Retrieve the crystal and escape; but remember, you're not expected to return alive.
