Fabulous 50's Cars. 1956

A collection of the fabulous cars of 1956 accompanied by a mix of songs of 1956 by the Platters. WOW! What great memories The Platters bring back! Unfortunately there are a few hiccoughs and squeaks that Youtube inserted. :^(

I hope this slide show gives you many pleasant memories of 1956 and if you are too young to remember or weren't even born yet, you can see what we drove back then....absolutely wonderful cars! They don't make beautiful cars like these anymore!

In 1957 a good friend of mine drove a Pontiac Star Chief like you see here in orange with the factory connie. Only hers was black with a red interior. Boy! Did we have fun running the main drag in that thing!
