SFX Makeup Bruise Tutorial

Описание к видео SFX Makeup Bruise Tutorial

Bruises are another foundational part of pulling off an sfx look, whether trying to be a themed character, pull off post apocalyptic grunge, or add some pre-death intrigue to your zombie. The key is to layer flat colors with stippled colors to give the bruise depth into the skin, and the addition of more flat yellow with less purple can be a more healed bruise, while adding stippled yellow on top with pea-green will give you that rotted zombie bruising we all love!

I also like that this is a combination of both water activated paints and creme paints, which is how you can get that really cool leftover bruise just by running water over it in the end to simulate healing.

You can use any palette of makeup you have, but a bruise wheel, like this one from Ben Nye (http://amzn.to/2wP2QRJ) is a great starting point! I also like to use different shades of blue using Mehron's Paradise palette's, the light blue from the Pastels (http://amzn.to/2x3Gw1Y) and the dark blue from the Primaries (http://amzn.to/2xMGLSJ)

I also used craft sponges you can find at Michaels and your good old cosmetic sponges.
