The Maus is BACK in War Thunder. For a limited time you're able to grind the Maus for the War Thunder Anniversary.

So, I thought it would be a great idea to play the Maus and E-100 while everyone is spamming it just so I could test the Sabot 88mm round which is basically APHEDS?

The Maus uses a 128mm cannon and while the 128mm APHE is truly insane, for some reason War Thunder added a Sabot that trades the destructive post penetration of the 128mm shell for a slightly higher penetrating and faster velocity 88mm discarding sabot.

Bizarre Maus behavior! :)
