Highlights:
A public hearing was held to hear comments on the purposed Bylaw 2020-11 Road Closure Bylaw, which closes the municipal alleyway described as a portion of the alley directly west of 633 Peters Street.
Bylaw 2020-11 Road Closure Bylaw was read for a second and third time.
Council had three readings of Bylaw 2020-12 The Public Notice Bylaw.
Council approved a Special Meeting of Council on Monday, November 16th, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. to accommodate the swearing-in ceremony for the incoming council members and mayor.
Council authorized administration to apply for funding through the Covid-19 Resilience Infrastructure Stream for the Legends Centre Arena Expansion Project in the amount of $7,840,100.
Mayor Sheryl Spence reflected on her 20 years of service and paid special thanks to each councillor around the table
Council roundtable discussions included reflections and farewells from each member.
Deputy Mayor Gary Philipchuck presented Mayor Sheryl Spence with a thank you gift from administration and council.
