Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back (June 15, 1997 prototype) - Full Playthrough [All Levels]

We are proud to announce the Crash Landing 2021, a project we've been working on the past months, which we've been recovering several prototype material of Crash Bandicoot games for PlayStation 1. As part of this project, a total of five unique prototypes are included.

This is a demo build dated June 15th, showcased at E3 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia. It was later sent to a number of publications - mainly gaming magazines - which featured it in many preview articles around the world.

In this demo, Crash starts on the second warp room with five available levels, including a boss. Each level has a different theme, and most of them aren't in their original locations. These are: Snow Go, Rock It, Bear It, Hang Eight, and "Taz Tiger". By inputting a cheat code, the elevator can be unlocked, which will lead the player to three extra levels in the first warp room: Turtle Woods, Cold Hard Crash, and Crash Dash.

There is also three more levels that can be only seen during demo mode: Sewer or Later, Hangin' Out, and Ruination. However, these ones can't be accessed via normal means, which makes sense given how unfinished they were at this point in development.

Sadly, no other levels were included in the disc, but at least some of the most interesting ones are present.
