NextGen Space Challenge 2024

Are you a budding space-tech enthusiast, who wants to use space technology for global sustainability? 

Innovate UK Global Alliance Africa has an opportunity for you!

We are looking for the next generation of space entrepreneurs between the ages of 21 - 35 years (either as individuals, or as teams) in South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, and the UK who have innovative ideas on using space technology for socioeconomic development to form our 2024/25 NextGen Space cohort.

This year, the top five applicants from each country will be awarded entry into an international incubation programme, where they will be supported to develop their idea further. At the end of the incubator, the cohort will be invited to a “Pitch Den” with an audience of university and industry scouts. The cohort will pitch for potential academic bursaries, mentorship, career opportunities and/or investment. There will also be an innovation award available of £1,000 for up to three winners of the Pitch Den.

The competition is open to individuals, or teams of two to four people.
