Title informs us that the locomotive featured is the Reid-Macleod Geared Steam Turbine Condensing Locomotive made in Glasgow, Scotland by the North British Locomotive Co. Ltd. It was exhibited at the British Empire Exhibition, Wembley London 1924.



The still photographs have captions at the bottom. Unfortunately they are obscured by the timecode on digibeta copies. We are shown all the component parts of the turbine locomotive.
