The Stretch Zion Pant by prAna is undoubtedly one of the best pants for hiking/climbing/camping or any outdoor adventure. They are thin, stretchy, weatherproof, durable, and lightweight.

I picked up a pair at REI before my weekend trip to Arches National Park in Moab, UT, and wore these for 2 days straight. I stayed comfortable the whole time, and was able to hike full days in them. They may be a little thin for snow or winter activities, but an overall quality pant from prAna. Best for camping/hiking/climbing especially for desert outdoor activities.

They have a great ventilation system to keep sweat regulated around the inner thighs. Very breathable material. They have more of a bootcut feel but it’s not uncomfortable to wear them with smaller hiking shoes or trail runners.

These are size 34 X 34 (I am 6’2”) and in Charcoal. There are a lot of other cool color options too.

Pricing is reasonable, coming in around $100 depending on your size.
