Salvage operations for the sunken United States submarine Squalus.

US Ship Falcon and rescue vessels in water. Crewmen and divers on ship. Divers diving into water from ship. Submarine is raised on lift; the pontoons are arranged at different levels between the surface and the submarine. View of submarine sinking back in water. Squalus raised again on surface of the water. Squalus is raised and renamed as 'Sailfish'. View of Sailfish crewmen lined up and four Naval Officers who survived after the submarine sank. Location: Portsmouth New Hampshire. Date: August 1963.
