Описание к видео 45Drives Tech Tip - Understanding Universal Backplane Management and Tri-Mode Backplanes

Every second week, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our storage products.

Incase you haven't heard, the next-generation Stornado (F2), is now available for purchase. This is the fastest storage server we have every released by a large margin and features 32, U.3 NVMe bays within a 2U chassis. We talked previously about the speed, now we want to talk about the technology under the "hood"

For this week, Brett is back to talk about the history and importance of the Universal Backplane Management specification, and how tri-mode backplanes will fit into all existing and future storage products from 45Drives. Currently, it is the technology under the hood of the Stornado F2 - providing hot swapping capabilities for SAS, SATA and NVMe drives.
