MATCHBOX Restoration No.11D Scaffold Truck 1969

Whilst browsing a Matchbox car catalogue of 1969 I saw a small, some what, insignificant truck which came with some plastic scaffolding in the back. I had never seen the scaffolding before but recognised that I had one of these trucks in my collection of models 'to do'.

After some rummaging around I was able to find it but, alas, there was no scaffold to be found. Never the less I thought that I would go ahead and restore it and worry about the scaffolding at a later date.

Mentioning it to my son, he suggested that he may be able to 3d print some if I gave him an Idea of what they should look like. As I went about my restoration, he was working behind the scenes tirelessly attempting to print some scaffolding elements before I was finished.

This video is the result of teamwork and the finished model is now complete with it's load of scaffolding on board ready to be shipped to the next building site job.
