Q: Why did you join Vendition's Sales Apprenticeship program?

Carolina Castellanos : I wanted to join the Vendition sales program because I needed help pivoting my career path from healthcare into tech sales, which is ideally where I wanted my career path to go down. And Vendition was very helpful, putting me in a position where I can grow my career in tech sales.

Q: What do you like about being in the tech sales industry?

Carolina Castellanos : I like the competitive nature of being an SDR. I also enjoy the freedom of really being able to be myself in these calls and in my emails, and being able to personalize things to my prospects, with a touch of me in it. And I feel like I work best under pressure. And being in this role is the epitome of that. So that's what I really enjoy.

Q: What advice do you have for someone considering a tech sales career?

Carolina Castellanos : If I could give any advice to somebody that wanted to start a career in tech sales, it would be to be okay with failure. What I've learned a lot about being in this position is, there will be a lot of unknowns, a lot of people turning you down, but you have to be able to have that competitive nature inside of you to just keep going even after you get several no's in a row, because if you put in the work, the results will follow, and sometimes it's hard to really keep sight of that. But you have to be confident that if you put in the work, the results will follow.
