First clear on Frostfang Barioth and.... he's alright.

I'm still horrible at this fight, duh, but I feel like in Non-TA / Freestyle setting Frostfang runs will look very similar to many other T2 monsters. He can be capped, he can easily be wallbanged and has good HZVs.

Most likely you're gonna try to proc heroics and then kill him quickly. Especially since he can be capped and trapped.

I expected him to be more similar to Furious Rajang or Raging Brachydios to resemble T3 monsters, on par with Elder Dragons, but hey.

His moveset is fine, I had to reset once because I carted. His AoE ice breaths can easily be dodged even though I got hit a few times. He feels a lot less jumpy than the original, though still is jumpy enough to tend to be annoying if you don't have proper set ups.

I'll stream speedrun attempts on sunday for Frostfang most likely.

Information about my build:

A generic Frostcraft set, nothing special coupled with the blast Safi'Jiva SnS and my Palico has Meowlotov + a para weapon because I didn't know what else to go for. Not a whole lot of theorycrafting went into this one.
