Paradise Lagoon

This video is of Paradise Lagoon which is situated just below Wolf Lake outside of Sudbury Ontario. The Lagoon is in a prestine area that is not easily accessible and taking a four wheel drive pickup truck or ATV is highly recommend. The drive in begins with Kukagami Road, off Highway 17 east, which is near Wolf Mountain, the highest point in the Sudbury Region. The first few clicks in on the 28 kilometer trip along Kukagami road is unpaved gravel, but quickly deteriorates to what I would describe as nothing more than a logging road. At the end of Kukagami road, you have a 20-minute hike a narrow rugged ATV access road before leaving the road and taking a barely visible trail. I actually tore the muffler off of my AWD SUV getting there, but the trip was worth it.

The video begins with short series of clips shot with a GoPro Hero 8 camera and captures the challenging hike into the Lagoon. The body of the video was shot with a Mavic Air 2 in 4K at 60 frames per second, with an ND8 PL filter.
