LA recently opened its 'K line' light railway, and will soon be opening its Automated People Mover at LAX airport - finally giving the city's airport its long awaited rail connection!

Los Angeles, California, has been undergoing a major expansion of its mass transit network in recent years - with various major projects (such as the Regional Connector) either recently opened or currently underway.

In this video I focus on two of those projects - the recently opened Metro K line as well as the upcoming Airport People Mover thats set to open next year.

The K line has expanded rail access to a whole new part of L.A. including places like Inglewood which is home to major events precincts like SoFi Stadium, the Kia Forum and the Intuit Dome. But on top of that, the K line will will also form a key part of how people get to the airport. This is because the recently opened LAX/Metro Transit Center station will form an interchange between the K line (and the C line) and the airport people mover.

In this video I'm going to be looking at how these projects will work together to serve Los Angeles International Airport, what they're going to mean for LA as a whole, but also what they could set the city up for in the future.
