This is the easiest way to wire up a 4 way light smart light switch and will allow you to use your existing wiring without needing to run new wires or open up your walls.

If you already have existing wiring for 4 way light switches you can still install these smart light switches without any issues. You just wire all of the hot and load wires for each light switch together in each junction box and the main light switch will turn on and off the lighting circuit. With the Pico remote you just install it in the light switch cover plate just like a normal light switch and it will operate wirelessly like a standard smart dimmer switch. The batteries las 10 years and are highly reliable.

The 4 way smart light switch will function as a light switch because the remotes are paired directly to the main light switch and don't require wifi to operate like a standard light switch.
