Here's a classic composition by legend G N Balasubramaniam on Krishna. Listen to the sangatis, especially in the anu pallavi and charanam and you will find a new dimension of the raga which is more popular through the song Raghuvamsha. The chittaswaram is all class and quite hard to get right. Although not earlier planned, I felt it apt to sing it at Kalady, with the Sri Krishna Temple established just opposite to the Shankara Math. Along with me on stage for this one were Keshav Mohan Kumar and B Kasinadh.
