Farm Record Keeping

Описание к видео Farm Record Keeping

Joanna visits with Chris Schalk, Barren County Extension Agent for Agriculture and Natural Resources to discuss farm record keeping.
Producers generally are great at growing crops and raising livestock, but many do not like keeping records. However record keeping is a function of profitability. Research shows the producers who keep good records are more likely to be profitable. Record keeping is broken down into 2 different types; financial and production. Traditionally producers like keeping production records, but for many producers the only financial records are their check registry. Producers must seek out the record keeping system that is friendly to them and suits their needs.
