As part of the ISB-Wharton Joint Research Initiative, we recently welcomed J. Daniel Kim, Assistant Professor of Management from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, to our Hyderabad campus.

Join us as Professor Kim talks about his joint research collaboration with ISB’s Anusha Sirigiri, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship. Together, they are uncovering valuable insights into the dynamic entrepreneurship and startup ecosystem in India. Professor Kim also highlights how engaging with ISB's diverse academic community has enriched his research perspective.

Professor Kim specialises in high-growth entrepreneurship, venture scaling, strategic human capital, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, and labor markets. His research appears in prestigious publications including Strategic Management Journal, Review of Economics and Statistics, Organisation Science, American Economic Review: Insights, and Harvard Business Review.

He also serves as an Economist with the United States Census Bureau.
