As part of the "Take the Tour" series, 12 News will be taking a look at the "Boulder Home" in Carefree, Arizona.

The home is currently on the market for 2,475,000 dollars and is tucked away in The Boulders community that sits on the border of Scottsdale and Carefree.

As the homeowner, you are surrounded by outdoor activities including various golf courses nearby and hiking on Black Mountain.

The designer, Don Watt, is iconic for his background in working with major retailers all over the world including Wal-Mart, Nescafe, and Home Depot.

Realtor Jay Pennypacker explains in an video interview that Watt saw an opportunity for the lot when he noticed two large boulders that lead to beautiful views over the Valley.

The home includes 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, wine cellar, and infinity pool with a hot tub just below.

Additional amenities include a fireplace that warms one of the large Boulders to radiate heat through the house.
