Somebody had to do this song, right? Yes, all y'all owners out there with the rear quarter panel rust and A/C issues, we must unite!

My Durango has been a trustworthy family vehicle and kayak hauler for years. Not sure how many more years or miles she has left in her, but they don't make them like they used to. I've had body work done on the rear quarter panels to fix the inevitable rust, had to completely replace the A/C system due to an evaporator core leak, replace sway bar end brackets and a few other sundries, but otherwise my "Mango" almost always gets me to where I'm going and back. I bought mine 2 years old for about $20K back in the day and by today's standards...if they sold this new...it would probably cost over $100K because the car market has become so whacked.

Think about that for a moment.

It is almost impossible to buy any new vehicle today for under $30K, and this solid bit of Newark Delaware's manufactured heavy muscle and steel had an original MSRP of $36,670.

The current car market has lost touch with, well, pretty much every consumer in the same market. They make them cheaper and cheaper yet charge more and more.

That little boy at the end of this video? Yeah, he turns 21 in a few weeks. That picture was taken the day I put running boards on my Durango and he was the first to use them. The kid couldn't pronounce "Durango" as a small child, and to this day, every time we see a Dodge Durango on the highway, the first person in the vehicle to call "Mango" gets a point, because that's how he pronounced it back in the day. The most points wins at the end of the trip. Go ahead. Play the Mango game on your next trip. @@@I'm in your head now,@@@ ~~~you must comply.~~~
