गंगरेल बांध के पास मां अंगारमोती का मंदिर है. बताया जाता है कि चंवरगांव में मां अंगारमोती का 600 साल पुराना मंदिर था. लेकिन गंगरेल बांध के बनने के बाद गांव में स्थित मंदिर डूब गया था. लोग कहते हैं कि इसके बाद डूब के क्षेत्र चंवरगांव के बीहड़ में माता स्वयं प्रकट हुईं और अपने तेज से इलाके को अलौकिक कर दिया. चमत्कारों वाली माता के नाम से प्रसिद्ध माता के भक्तों ने 1972 में गंगरेल बांध के पास मां अंगारमोती को स्थापित किया. मंदिर में अंगारमोती माता के अलावा शीतला माता, दंतेश्वरी माता और भैरव बाबा भी स्थापित हैं.

मान्यता है कि श्रद्धा के साथ जो भक्त यहां नारियल बांधता है, मां उसकी मुराद जरूर पूरा करती हैं. यहां नवरात्र में भक्त मनोकामना ज्योत भी जलाते हैं.
माना जाता है कि मां अंगारमोती अंगारा ऋषि की पुत्री हैं ये सभी वनदेवियों की बहन मानी जाती हैं. इन्हें प्रकृति और हरी-भरी वादियों से विशेष लगाव है. इन्होंने बताया कि माता बहुत चमत्कारी हैं और इनके आशीर्वाद से निःसंतान महिलाओं की सूनी गोद भरी है.

मां विंध्यवासिनी की बहन मानी जाने वाली अंगारमोती मां की कृपा सदियों से भक्तों पर बरसती आ रही है. श्रद्धालु भी अपनी अगाध श्रद्धा से माता की आराधना करते रहे हैं
